After a long stay in tiny Mamallapuram, we finally left for Pondicherry. Pondicherry used to be a French colony and it still has a distinct European feel to it. A breath of fresh air - the kind of place one could easily live in (for a while at least!).
We spent almost 2 weeks here, comforted by our quiet routine of bike rides, afternoon naps, evening strolls and endless meanderings in the fruit market.
